Niagara College Teaching Winery and Brewery
We’ve partnered up with Niagara College Teaching Winery and Brewery in Niagara-on-the-Lake to bring you a truly unique experience. Suitable for the whole team, we’ll explore a fantastic local vineyard, indulge in some fun games, and learn about wine and beer making.

Segways offer the most fun you can have on two wheels and allow us to cover greater distances than would be possible with a traditional walking tour. They’re easy to operate and provide hours of swift transportation.

Training
Everybody receives thorough training for their Segway adventure. We’ll make sure that the whole team feels comfortable in control of their vehicle before we set off.

Absolutely no experience is necessary – the controls are incredibly intuitive and easy to learn. Training takes around 15 minutes. Once we’re happy that everyone is confident to control their Segway, we set off towards our first destination.

Beer Tasting
After a short ride through their campus, our first stop is at the Niagara College Teaching Brewery, where everyone can enjoy a beer-tasting from stock made exclusively by the students.

This is Canada’s first commercial teaching brewery, so you’ll enjoy the innovations and successes of the next generation of craft brewers.

Vineyard
After the tasting, we embark upon an off-road, educational adventure around their 40-acre vineyards.

You’ll learn plenty about the Niagara region from our local guide who will explain why Niagara has become the prime location for winemaking in Canada.

Segway Obstacle Course
This is where the real fun begins.

After having ridden the Segway for 1/2h, we’ll separate into two teams to enjoy a Segway obstacle course and test your newly acquired skills!

Speed is important, as you navigate your way through the obstacles, but accuracy is vital to help you maintain your team score.

Our fun and challenging obstacle course is the perfect team activity; promoting team-working, problem-solving, and lots of laughter.

Blind Tasting
After the Segway ride, this is time to relax and enjoy some wine – but with a twist.

Our second group activity of the day is a blind-tasting of a selection of fabulous wines from the vineyard.

Lunch
The final part of the tour is a delicious picnic style lunch at Niagara College Teaching Winery. Relax on their sunny patio while you indulge in some great food, excellent wine, and share your Segway experience.
