Discover the Niagara region and its interesting history in a new way and take a Segway tour of the Welland Canal. This is one of the most fun things to do in Niagara Falls!
Quick Details
Dreaming of riding along effortlessly, surrounded by beautiful sceneries? Stop dreaming and live it during our Segway tour of Port Dalhousie!
Port Dalhousie was the terminus of the first three Welland canals until 1932 and the opening of the fourth canal going through Port Weller. Nowadays, Port Dalhousie is a beautiful little town with unique restaurants and cafes. This is also the most popular beach of St. Catharines and is still home of the 5c Carousel (open only during the warm months).
Please note, half of this tour is fairly easy, the second half is more challenging, so this is perfect for people who have been on a Segway several times before. The tour starts at Jaycee Gardens Park along the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta Course.
We travel through Rennie Park after crossing the new bridge which connects both together. Then our tour goes around the port with its beautiful views of the lake and its marina and relaxing atmosphere. Before heading back, we visit the Lakeside Park with its beautiful beach and its antique carousel.
