Port Dalhousie was the Terminus of the First 3 Welland Canals until 1932 and the opening of the 4th Canal going through Port Weller.
Nowadays, Port Dalhousie is a beautiful little town with unique restaurants and cafes. This is also the most popular beach of St Catharines and is still home of the 5c Carousel (open only during the warm months).
The tour will start at Port Dalhousie House in Rennie Park along the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta Course. We travel through Rennie Park and to the new bridge and across to Jaycee Garden Park. Then, our tour will follow the trail around Jaycee park until we return to the bridge which we cross again back into Rennie Park. We then tour to the other side and end up back at Port Dalhousie House.
This tour is about 3km long (2 miles) and lasts 45 minutes.
